We have been made aware of a fraudulent activity that has come to the attention of our SNEE ICB Data Protection Team.

It has been reported that an individual or organisation is impersonating a GP practice and contacting businesses, claiming to be selling advertising space in a “patient information booklet” supposedly produced on behalf of a GP practice. Guildhall Surgery are not producing or distributing any advertising materials or booklets of this kind.

We believe this to be a scam intended to obtain money from local businesses under false pretences and wanted to make our patients and local partners aware in case you or any of our local business are are approached in a similar way.

Please do not make any payment or share personal details if approached in this manner.
