PRACTICE CLOSURE FOR STAFF TRAINING

 

From 1pm until 6.30pm on Tuesday 13th March, our practice will be closed for important clinical education and training purposes:

 

Emergency cover will be provided by Care UK Out of Hours Service who will be responsible for:

 

  • Telephone triage
  • Face-to-face appointments at base TBC in Bury St Edmunds or Haverhill Health Centre
  • Home visits

 

Repeat prescription requests will not be dealt with during these times so please ensure sufficient notice is given to enable your practice to provide these for you prior to practice closure dates.

Repeat Prescriptions

pill_bottleRequests for repeat prescriptions may be made in the following ways:

  • In person – using the repeat prescription form attached to your previous prescription, put a tick against the medication you require and leave it in the drop box in the outer lobby
  • By post - Please address all repeat prescription requests to the 'Prescription Team'
  • Online – via the link at the top of this page.  Please ask at reception if you wish to be able to order you repeat prescription online.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT ACCEPT REPEAT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS OVER THE TELEPHONE

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

From the 25th January 2017 we went live with EPS

If you collect your repeat prescription from the Surgery you will not have to visit us to collect this. Instead we can send the prescription electronically to a nominated pharmacy of your choice.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
